The red list animals: IBerian Linx

THE RED LIST ANIMALS: IBERIAN LINX

The animal in this photo is an Iberian lynx. In fact, the Iberian lynx is not a cat, but a type of feline. Here it is very attentive to hunt. Maybe it’s hunting for rabbits.

Iberian lynx live in areas of Mediterranean forest.
It’s alone, but it is more sociable at time of reproducing. It’s aggressive and it usually eats rabbits, anatidae, ungulates, partridge, little mammals and some birds. Females have one to four babies every year.

The Iberian lynx is on the “red list” of animals in danger. Some iberian lynx are in danger because the humans poison and rush them and destroy their habitat.
