The lord of kings is tolkien's most famous novel and it's more than 1200 pages long!
IT was so long that it was published in three volumen. It's dark, and scary story about the evil Lord Sauron who is looking for Ring that will give him the power to control Middle Earth.
The story follows the Hobbit, Frodo Baggins, who has the ring, and his long and dangerous journey to destroy it before Sauron finds it.
